Silver Stains Away: How to Clean Stained Silver

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and whether you like it or not holiday parties are on the horizon. Now holiday parties come in many different forms, there’s the gift exchange, the sweater party and of course there’s the sweater party gift exchange. Fun for the whole family or not. Eventually you’re gonna have to get serious when the in-laws come to town expecting a nice sit-down dinner since stains and tarnish on the family silverware simply will not do, we at the Molly Institute have created this cleaning quick tip to make your silver look shiny and new. Line a cake pan with aluminum foil. Fill the pan with water and add 1 tablespoon of baking soda per 2 cups of water. Heat the water to 150 degrees and lay the silverware in the pan making sure it’s touching the aluminum foil and that’s it.
